What does “threeattic” mean?
A nod to my favorite novel, Mark Z. Danielewski’s House of Leaves; one of its several appendices is called “The Three Attic Whalestoe Letters.” I’ve lived in several attics (three, in fact). Attics are places of madness but also intense creativity — the place where you might keep your insane first wife or your starving artist tenant.
